Hi, I’m Alicia! I founded Willow Creek Portraits in 2011 after a long career in television production. As someone who spent most of her life with a camera, you’d think I’d be less camera shy. But it’s actually one of the reasons I fell in love with portrait photography. I have deep empathy for people who want to promote themselves or their business but feel uncomfortable or awkward in front of the camera.

With over a decade of photography experience, my expertise is in lighting, composition, and natural interaction. I’ll call to confirm our session and answer any questions you have after you book online. But here’s a head start if you’re nervous or have never had professional headshots taken before.

What should I wear?

Most importantly: wear something that makes you feel confident and professional.

Solid colors and simple patterns work best. Feel free to bring a few different options to your session. If you wear makeup, only wear slightly more makeup than usual. Don’t hesitate to bring any products with you for touch-ups too!

If you’re unsure or have questions, I’m happy to provide guidance based on your industry and personal style.

Where are you located?

My home-based studio is located on the north-east side of Colorado Springs in the Cordera neighborhood, one mile east of Powers and Union. The address is 10463 Fall Creek Court.

I also offer location services for an additional fee. For studio sessions, my easy-to-use online scheduling system lets you book your headshots directly through my website. If you have a different location in mind, just let me know.

Do you shoot team photos in addition to headshots?

Absolutely! Regardless of your company’s size, I can photograph your entire team and/or departments. Typically, I include one group photo at no extra charge in any team shoot.

I also offer composited team images, making it easy to add new or remove old team members without having to schedule a new team photo whenever staff changes take place!

What kinds of backdrops do you offer?

While most clients opt for a classic white or grey background, I also offer a variety of solid colors, gradients, and custom digital backgrounds designed specifically for your industry.

Do you offer headshots at events?

I do! Whether you’re hosting a big company event or industry conference, I provide high-quality headshots for any number of people on demand. I offer immediate individual image selection through private galleries to support any type of event your company is taking part in. Call me to get a custom quote!

Can I share a session with a partner?

If you and one or two business partners would like to schedule headshots both individually and together, you can add up to four people to your session for an additional $75 per person.

This will include an extra finished image for each individual, ensuring that everyone receives a standout photo from the shoot. For larger teams, please call me to discuss arranging a custom session tailored to your needs.
