Natural. Joyful. Unscripted.
Beautiful outdoor portraits where your dog can truly be themselves.

For dogs who love a good adventure!
Some dogs were born for the outdoors - ears in the breeze, nose to the ground, and tail wagging the whole way!
Outdoor sessions give your dog the freedom to explore and be themselves while we capture the expressions, personality, and little moments that make them unforgettable.
With a calm approach, patience, and a pocket full of treats, we'll create joyful portraits that celebrate your best friend in a beautiful, natural setting.
The adventures don't last forever. Capture these moments while you can!

Q: My dog is a spaz and is very unruly. Can you still do a session with her?
A: I suggest to clients that have high energy dogs to take them for a long walk shortly before the session. Dogs with this much energy will still be happy and active for their session, but will most likely be calm enough to get some great shots that require them to sit still – even if for brief periods of time.
Q: What if my dog is untrained?
A: No problem...it's more common than you think! That's why I send out a questionnaire before our session, so I can get a sense of your dog's personality, energy level, and any quirks. During the session, a leash is often used to help guide or keep your dog in place, and I simply remove it during the editing process. I always work at your dog's pace - no reason to rush the process. I do recommend you bring a handler with you for more than one dog.
Q: If my family and I are in the photos, what do we wear?
A: Not to worry - once we get your session booked, I will send you a preparation and style guide to answer all your questions about what to wear, what to bring, and what to do to prepare.
Q: How can I display my images?
A: Great question! Most clients choose at least one portrait to hang on the wall, and then put the rest of their favorite images in an album or portfolio box. I’ll help you select the sizes and finishes to complement your home. With any wall portrait purchase, you'll also receive the matching digital file(s), which can be used for archiving, personal printing, and sharing on social media.
Q: What do I need to do to prepare for my session?
A: I have a comprehensive style and preparation guide to send your way after your session is booked. It's chock full of information to ensure you're fully prepared.
Q: What if it's raining or snowing on the day of our scheduled session?
A: If the forecast calls for average to heavy rain or snow (or even lots of wind), we can connect that morning and reschedule (there are no refunds for bad weather, and overcast days are typically not rescheduled).
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: The session fee is due at the time of booking the session to hold your place on the calendar. It is not refundable in case of cancellation, except in the unfortunate situation that your dog passes away or just isn't up for the session due to terminal illness. In all other instances, we can reschedule.
