I am beyond thrilled to share some exciting news—Tails of the World, 2024 Edition is available for purchase! This incredible book is part of a global photography project that has raised over $250,000 for animal charities around the world, showcasing over 2,000 dogs by talented pet photographers from 80 different countries. What makes this even more special is that 100% of the session fees and book sales are being donated to various animal charities, making a real difference in the lives of animals in need.
Being part of this project last year was an absolute honor. Through my photography sessions, I was able to raise $1,500 for the National Mill Dog Rescue in Colorado Springs, an organization close to my heart that works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate dogs from commercial breeding facilities. Knowing that my work contributed to such a meaningful cause fills me with immense gratitude and pride.
For this project, I had the joy of photographing some incredible local dogs right here in Colorado Springs. Each session was a chance to capture the spirit and beauty of our beloved city, from the stunning landscapes of Cheyenne Canyon and Garden of the Gods to the iconic locations of the U.S. Air Force Academy, downtown Colorado Springs, and Manitou Springs. These scenic backdrops perfectly complemented the personalities of the dogs, many of whom had been rescued and are now thriving in their forever homes.
Meeting these dogs and their wonderful owners was truly a highlight of this journey. Every pup had a unique story, and seeing them enjoy their best lives—playing, exploring, and soaking up love—was nothing short of inspiring. I’m so grateful to have been able to capture those moments.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In 2025, I will be launching a brand-new book project dedicated again to benefiting the National Mill Dog Rescue. Unlike Tails of the World, which features dogs from all over the globe, this book will celebrate the incredible dogs of Colorado Springs. Aptly titled Tails of Colorado Springs, this project will shine a spotlight on our local furry friends right here at home.
